Community & Contributions

Purpose

This page describes how community members may propose contributions and how contributions are reviewed. It is informational only and does not guarantee acceptance, inclusion, response times, or outcomes.

This page is descriptive and informational only and must not be interpreted as a guarantee, certification, endorsement, or system-wide claim.

What Counts as a “Contribution”

A contribution may include documentation edits, issue reports, suggested clarifications, example snippets, or proposals to improve structure and navigation. Examples listed here are non-exhaustive.

Submission and Review

Contributions are reviewed under scope and quality constraints, including consistency, safety, and interpretation-boundary hygiene. Review may include edits, rejection, partial adoption, or deferral.

A submission does not imply that the content is correct, verified, approved, or endorsed.

Interpretation Rules

Treat community-contributed content as proposed material unless and until it is explicitly published in the canonical documentation set.

Presence of a contribution in a public thread or repository does not imply that it is authoritative, complete, or operationally enforced.

Disallowed Inferences

Do not infer that community activity implies platform legitimacy, safety, compliance, audit status, or operational guarantees.

Do not infer that maintainers approve or endorse all community statements or links.

Do not treat community contributions as proof of correctness or as a substitute for independent verification.

Common Failure Patterns

Treating “open contribution” as a quality guarantee.

Interpreting community-maintained links as audits, certifications, or endorsements.

Escalating discussion volume into claims of trustworthiness or adoption.

Boundary Conditions

This page does not define technical specifications, security properties, audit outcomes, compliance status, or performance guarantees.

It does not define dispute resolution, moderation outcomes, or community governance models beyond contribution handling.

Non-Goals

This page does not rank contributors, certify contributions, or guarantee publication.

For a catalog of evidence categories and interpretation boundaries referenced across documentation, see the Master Evidence Registry.
